Your time browsing the Virtual Mall is valuable. When you discover something that catches your eye — a handmade product on a boutique Malet, a service from a professional studio, or an entire Malet you want to revisit — Wishlists & Collections lets you save it instantly and organize it your way.

How to Save Items

Hover over any product card, service listing, or Malet profile and open the quick menu (the ⋯ icon that appears in the top corner). Select Save to List to open the list picker.

From the list picker you can:

  • Toggle the item in or out of any existing list by tapping its checkbox
  • Create a new list directly from the picker — type a name and tap Add

TIP

The quick menu works everywhere — on the Lobby discovery feed, inside individual Malet storefronts, in search results, and on featured product widgets.

Finding Your Lists

There are two quick ways to reach your lists:

  1. Sidebar navigation — Open the hamburger menu (☰) and tap My Lists
  2. Avatar menu — Tap your avatar in the top navigation bar and select My Lists

Both take you directly to the /wishlist management page.

The Lists Page

The /wishlist page uses a two-panel layout:

  • All your lists are displayed with their name and item count
  • Click any list to view its contents
  • The + button at the top lets you create a new list
  • Double-click a list name to rename it inline

Main Content Area

  • Grid or list view toggle — switch between visual cards and compact rows
  • Per-item quantity steppers — adjust how many of each item you want (+ and − buttons)
  • Inline notes — double-click the note area to add a personal note to any item
  • Price totals — the list total automatically calculates ÎŖ(price × quantity) across all items
  • CSV export — download your entire list as a spreadsheet-ready CSV file

NOTE

You can create as many lists as you need. There is no limit.

Managing Your Lists

Removing Items

Each item row has a small × button on the right. Tap it to remove the item from that list.

Renaming a List

Double-click the list name in the sidebar or on the list header. Edit the name inline and press Enter to save.

Deleting a List

Select the list and click the Delete button in the action bar. Any items in the deleted list are automatically moved back to your default Saved Items — nothing is lost.

IMPORTANT

The default ❤ī¸ Saved Items list cannot be deleted. It serves as your catch-all.

Exporting a List

Click the CSV button in the action bar to download a CSV file containing all items in the selected list. The export includes name, type, Malet, price, quantity, notes, and the date each item was added.

Understanding Item Types

Lists support three types of saved content:

Type What It Means
Product A physical or digital product listed on a Malet
Service A bookable service offered by a Malet (consultations, sessions, etc.)
Malet An entire Malet storefront you want to revisit or follow

Privacy & Data

Your lists use a dual-persistence strategy:

  • Local storage (localStorage + IndexedDB) provides instant access — your lists load immediately, even before the network responds
  • Backend sync — when you are signed in with your uID, your lists are automatically synced to the server using the Collections GraphQL API. This means your lists follow you across devices and browsers

TIP

For the best experience, stay signed into your uID account. Your lists will be available on any device where you log in.

When you are not signed in, lists are stored locally in your browser. Clearing your browser data will remove unsaved lists.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Malet Owners see that I saved their items? No. Your lists are completely private. Only you can see what you have saved.

What happens if a product I saved is removed from the Malet? The item will remain in your list with its original name and details. If you click on it, you will be directed to the Malet where it was originally listed.

Can I share a list with someone else? List sharing via collaborators is on the roadmap. When available, you will receive a notification when someone shares a list with you. For now, you can export any list as a CSV to share manually.

Do my lists sync across devices? Yes, when you are signed in. Your lists are synced to the Mallnline backend and available wherever you log in with the same uID.
