Getting Started as a Malet Owner

Welcome to Mallnline! This guide walks you through the entire journey from discovering the platform to launching your first Malet and managing it from The Deck — your personal command center inside the virtual mall.

What is a Malet Owner?

A Malet Owner is anyone who operates a storefront (called a Malet) on the Mallnline virtual mall. As a Malet Owner, you can:

• Sell physical products, digital goods, and services
• Publish blog posts with your Malet's built-in blog engine
• Communicate with Visitors via uChat (end-to-end encrypted messaging)
• Track revenue, Murchases, and engagement from The Deck
• Invite team members to collaborate on your Malet

Step 1: Register as a Malet Owner

Visit the Become a Malet Owner page at /owner/register. This is your starting point for joining the platform.

If You Don't Have an Account Yet

1. Click "Sign In to Get Started" — this takes you to the Mallnline sign-in page.
2. Create your account using a Magic Link (email), Google, Apple, Facebook, or X.
3. After signing in, you'll be redirected to create your first Malet.

If You Already Have an Account

1. Visit /owner/register while signed in.
2. If you don't own any Malets yet, click "Create Your Malet — It's Free" to launch the creation wizard.
3. If you already own Malets, you'll see a welcome message with a link to The Deck.

Choosing Your Path

The registration page presents two paths:

• Solo Creator: Takes you directly to the Malet creation wizard. You can manage one Malet with up to 3 team members.
• Business & Team: Takes you to create an Organization first, then launch Malets under it. Includes custom domains, RBAC, and up to 5 Malets.

Step 2: Create Your Malet

Once you've chosen your path, the 5-step Malet Creation Wizard guides you through:

1. Choose Your Vertical — Select your industry (Food & Beverage, Fashion, Tech, etc.)
2. Set Your Identity — Pick a name, claim your m|handle, and write a tagline
3. Configure Your Vertical — Set up industry-specific options and discovery tags
4. Choose Your Tier — Compare Starter, Pro, and Enterprise features
5. Review & Launch — Confirm details and go live

Your Malet is live immediately after creation — Visitors can find it through the Lobby feed, search, and direct links.

Step 3: Navigate The Deck

The Deck at deck.mallnline.com/dashboard is your operational command center. Think of it as your private office inside the virtual mall.

What You'll See

When you open The Deck, you'll find:

• Stats Row: Four cards showing your total Malets, Products, Services, and Blog Posts at a glance.
• My Malets Grid: Every Malet you own, displayed as cards with quick action buttons:
  • Manage — Opens your Malet's management dashboard
  • Blog — Opens the blog editor for your Malet
  • View — Opens your Malet's public storefront
• Create New Malet: A dashed card that takes you to the creation wizard.
• Quick Actions: Six launcher cards for common tasks:
  • Create New Malet
  • Analytics (opens The Tower dashboard)
  • Organization (manage or create an org)
  • Settings (account preferences)
  • Pricing & Plans (compare tiers)
  • Support (help center)

Organization Context

If you belong to an Organization, The Deck automatically scopes to show only Malets owned by that Organization. You'll see:

• An org banner at the top: "Showing Malets owned by [Org Name]"
• An org badge next to The Deck title

Switch between personal and org context using the Org Switcher in the navigation bar.

Step 4: Compare Plans & Pricing

Visit /owner/pricing to see a full comparison of all available plans.

Plan Overview

Annual Billing

Toggle to Annual billing on the pricing page to save 20% on Pro and Enterprise plans. The pricing cards update instantly to show the discounted monthly rate and the total annual cost.

Commission Rates

Mallnline charges a percentage commission on each Murchase processed through your Malet. Higher-tier plans come with lower commission rates, meaning more of each sale goes directly to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

The pricing page includes answers to common questions:

• Can I upgrade or downgrade? — Yes, at any time from your Organization settings.
• What happens at my Malet limit? — You'll be prompted to upgrade, but existing Malets stay fully active.
• Do I need an Organization for Starter? — No, Starter is designed for solo creators.

• Not signed in: You'll see "Become a Malet Owner" (→ registration), "Open a Malet" (→ for-business), and "Pricing" (→ plan comparison).
• Signed in: You'll see "The Deck" (→ your dashboard), "Admin Dashboard" (→ The Tower), "Manage Malets", "New Organization", and "Pricing".
